Smala gränd, David Bagares Poster by Bruno Ehrs
This poster features a photograph by Bruno Ehrs from the exhibition Stockholm - Stycken av en stad, capturing the corner of Smala Gränd and David Bagares Gata on July 19, 1986.
Bruno Ehrs (b. 1953) is one of Sweden’s most influential photographers. Over his 40-year career, he has held numerous exhibitions focusing on architecture and portraiture, while also photographing for internationally renowned brands. His work is represented in both the Nationalmuseum and Moderna Museet collections.
In the 1980s, Ehrs collaborated with musician Tom Wolgers, exploring Stockholm in the early mornings to capture the city as it slept. While Ehrs photographed, Wolgers recorded the ambient sounds of the city. Their collaboration resulted in two exhibitions, and more than three decades later, the works were once again presented at Fotografiska in Stockholm – Stycken av en stad, a poetic portrait of a city in constant transformation.
