Matjaž Tančič (b. 1982) is a photographic artist working between China and Slovenia, primarily in documentary and independent projects. His practice explores the boundaries of documentary, portrait, and art photography while addressing social and cultural issues. Known for his innovative 3D stereography, Tančič often experiments with new techniques to expand the possibilities of photography.
Presented in Fotografiska’s exhibition Space - A Visual Journey (2024), this work is part of a larger exploration where artistic expression meets scientific discovery. Thirteen internationally acclaimed photographers contribute their unique perspectives on space, blending human imagination with cosmic inquiry.
