This colourful set of coasters is inspired by David LaChapelle’s Aristocracy series (2014), a collection sure to spark conversation. In these vividly illuminated scenes, the artist captures a swirl of clouds entangling a fleet of private jets in a moment of near collision.

The series is a masterful study in colour, evoking the tonal interplay of light found in the works of great painters from the Renaissance to modern times. Each of the six coasters highlights a distinct detail from LaChapelle’s original photographs.
